Kodiak Lodge

Our Kodiak Lodge sleeps up to 16 guests offering five bedrooms with two main floor bedrooms with queen size beds and full bath. The second floor offers two large bedrooms with two queen size beds in each and one smaller bedroom with 1 queen bed, 1.5 bathrooms, plus a large loft game room area with an electric fireplace.

For outdoor activities the Kodiak Lodge, we offer approximately 3,000.00 square foot wrap around porch with ample seating for all. Includes a hot tub and corn hole, overlooking a blue water pond with a fountain and swimming area, plus a fishing area for the whole family.

Policies

The booking age requirement for the Lodge is 30 years of age. Valid ID may be required upon check-in. We do not rent our facilities for after-prom, high school graduation parties, college formal parties, bachelor/bachelorette and fraternity or sorority parties. All events are subject to approval by owners/management prior to confirmation of a reservation. We do not allow ANY visitors without management approval. Only registered guests for your stay will be given access to the property - up to 16 guests. Others will be turned away. No exceptions.

TRAVEL INSURANCE:

As of April 2020, the travel industry changed due to Covid-19. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance in this time of uncertainty as another way to cover yourself as a traveler if you want additional coverage outside of our cancellation policies. Per our cancellation policy, refunds for communicable diseases or viruses are only offered if there is a full travel ban in place. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance through this third-party vendor to cover your trip for ANY REASON (weather, illness, etc) you need to cancel – https://www.squaremouth.com/ – please call our office for more information.

DAMAGE DEPOSIT: 

In addition to the rental fees, a $1000.00 security deposit may be required for all reservations.

Note: We require the security deposit 14 days prior to your check in date. Deposits are usually received back within 5-7 business days after your departure. The security deposit will be conditionally but HAPPILY REFUNDED pending we receive the accommodation back in the same condition in which it was given to you.

CANCELLATION POLICY

Reservations that are cancelled less than 60 days after your booking will receive a refund of your prepaid rental fee and security deposit (if already paid), less a cancellation fee of $300.

Cancellations outside of 60 days (from the time you booked) but more than 60 days prior to your stay will receive a 50% refund of your prepaid rental fee and security deposit (if already paid).

There is NO refund of any kind for cancellations less than 60 days prior to your stay.

In the event of an early departure, we cannot give any kind of refund.

There are no cancellations due to inclement weather or acts of God outside of our control.

Refunds for communicable diseases or viruses are only offered if there is a full travel ban. We encourage you to purchase trip insurance through our third-party vendor. Changes to the arrival or departure date are subject to our cancellation policy and/or a $125 change fee. 

RATES & BOOKINGS

The nightly rate does not include Hocking County Lodging Tax of 6%, Ohio Sales Tax of 7.25%, or HockingHills.com service fee of 6%. All will be applied at the time of booking.

*Reservations that create one night openings during our in-season, will not be accepted unless approved by management.* Our reservation system may not quote a discounted price – We will honor all discounts and apply them before charging your credit card, please call our office at 740.385.3777 to confirm discounted pricing.

PAYMENT

Payment is due in full at the time of booking. Any balance including the security deposit is due no less than 30 days prior to your stay. Visa, MasterCard, and Discover are accepted. Personal check or bank check are the only forms of payment accepted for the security deposit. 

CHECK-IN & CHECKOUT

Check-In is between 4:00 PM – 6:00 PM at the lodge.  

Check-Out is by 11:00 AM.

Smoking

Smoking is not allowed in Kodiak Lodge.

Pets

Kodiak Lodge does not allow pets (Violation will result in a $500 charge).

DAMAGES

We reserve the right to charge your credit card for any damages or excessive cleaning from your stay. If you notice any problems upon checking in, please let us know right away.
